Johnny is the geek next door. He's rather awkwad, but he likes to be sociable. He's very well rounded in his intelligence- be it science, math, literature, or history he usually knows something about it. He's a very loyal and devoted friend.
However, when it comes to being a superhero, Johnny is really desparate. He wants to be as big as someone like Captain Hammer and do good. When it comes to this, he really is an optimist about one person being able to save the world. This is inspired by a prolonged exposure to comic books, which some consider unhealthy.

Johathan Frost was born to a Jewish mother and a Christian father, and was rather privledged as a child. His father was a CEO of a large company, so money wasn't really an object. However, he was not a happy child. His intelligence earned him few friends, and lots of being beat up by his older brother.
This quickly turned Johnny's attention to comic books. He became absorbed in the idea of being able to save the world and do good. So he spent his time becoming a superhero. He read every book he could get on the subject, whether it was helpful or not.
Johnny's superpowers actually came unexpectedly though. On bring your child to work day when he was fourteen, his father's cryogenics lab had a bit of a... meltdown. Although most people got out, Johnny didn't make it out in time and was frozen in a block of ice at close to absolute zero. When he was thawed out, for unexplained reasons he was able to freeze objects so long as he was touching them.
